Visual feedback for WordPress

Your client points at the problem. You get a task.

Clients click any element on your site and leave a comment with a screenshot attached. Every comment lands in wp-admin as a task with a priority, an assignee, and a due date. No accounts, no extensions, no outside service.

The button looks off — too dark, and it’s not our brand purple. Can we match the header?

Real pins. Tap a number to read the comment.

Right now, feedback goes everywhere except where it should

Three places a revision round dies. You have seen all of them.

the email thread

“See my notes below”

Fourteen replies deep. You scroll to work out which page “the header” meant, and which of three headers.

the red circle

A screenshot marked in Paint

One red ring around a button. No URL, no browser, no screen size. You cannot tell which breakpoint broke.

the vague message

“The spacing is off”

Which element? Which page? You book a call to find out what a single click could have told you.

How it works

Three steps. The revision round lives where the site lives.

  1. 01

    Install and activate

The widget appears on your site for anyone holding a share link. Nothing to configure to get started.

  2. 02

    Your client clicks and types

They point at the element that bothers them and write. Markaroo grabs the screenshot and the technical details.

  3. 03

It shows up as a task

The comment lands in wp-admin as a task. Assign it, set a priority, resolve it when it is done.

Pin it where you see it

Click-to-comment pins on any element. Drag to select a region. Draw arrows, boxes and circles on the capture. Reposition a pin after you place it. Existing pins stay visible, so nobody reports the same thing twice.

Every bug arrives with its context

Page URL, browser, operating system and screen resolution, all captured the moment your client hits send. Your client does not fill in a form. You never have to ask “which browser?” again.

Comments that turn into work

Threaded replies, @mentions and tags. Priority levels from Urgent to Low. Assign to any WordPress user, set a due date, and track everything in one task list — no copying into Asana afterward.

Clients need nothing

Send a private share link. No signup, no login, no browser extension. It works on mobile. Choose one of three widget modes — comment, view, or clean — for what each person should see.

Works with what you already build on

Any theme, any page builder. It reads the page your visitor sees, so it does not care how you made it. Staging sites and localhost are included.

FAQ

Straight answers

Does my client need an account?

No. You send a private share link and they start commenting. No signup, no login, no browser extension — on desktop or mobile.

Does this send data to a third party?

No. Screenshots, comments and tasks are stored in your own WordPress database. The free plugin makes no calls to any outside service.

Will it work with my page builder?

Yes. Markaroo reads the rendered page your visitor sees, so it works with any theme and any builder — Elementor, Divi, Gutenberg, Bricks and the rest.

Does it slow down my site for regular visitors?

The widget only loads for people holding a share link, and the screenshot library is loaded on demand, not on every page. Regular visitors are not served the feedback tooling.

Can I use it on staging or localhost?

Yes. It runs wherever WordPress runs, including staging environments and local sites, so you can review before anything goes live.

What happens to my data if I deactivate the plugin?

Deactivating leaves your data in place. Uninstalling removes the plugin's tables cleanly — and you can export feedback first. Nothing is held on a server you do not control.

Put the revision round where the site lives

Install the free plugin, send a share link, and let your client point at the problem.
